Want more than one Zip a day?

LinkedIn's Zip gives you one puzzle a day. If you finish it before your coffee is done, here is where to get more of the same kind of puzzle, for free.

The same rule you already know

Zip is a path puzzle. You draw one line through a grid. The line visits the numbers in order and fills every square. Candy Path uses exactly that rule:

  1. Start on 1.
  2. Move up, down, left or right. No diagonals.
  3. Reach 2, then 3, and so on. The highest number is the end.
  4. Fill every square once. The line never crosses itself.
1234
A small puzzle. Find the line from 1 to 4 that covers all 16 squares.
1234
One answer. The line snakes along the rows and still meets the numbers in order.

What you get in Candy Path

  • A daily puzzle. One new board every day, the same for everyone. Solve it to grow a streak. You can play it in your browser right now.
  • Hundreds of journey levels. In the app, a map through a candy kingdom. There is no daily limit. Play ten levels on the train or one before bed.
  • New pieces as you go. Walls (we call them fences), bridges where the line may cross itself, portals, ice that makes the line slide, keys and doors, levers that open and shut gates. Each one is explained the first time you meet it.
  • Friends. Add friends with a code and compare times on the daily puzzle.
  • Hints when you want them. The light bulb shows the next part of the path. Nobody forces you to use it.

How it differs from Zip

The core is the same, so your Zip habits work here. The differences:

  • There is no limit of one per day. The daily puzzle is one, the journey is as long as you like.
  • Boards grow over time and new pieces change how you plan a route.
  • No account is needed to play. Friends and cloud save use an anonymous account the app makes for you.
  • No ads in the app.

Where else people look for "Zip unlimited"

Many sites copy Zip boards or offer an endless stream of random grids. That works, but random grids are often either trivial or unfair. Every Candy Path level is built from a complete line first, so each board has a solution, and levels are tuned so the difficulty rises slowly.
