What the daily puzzle is
It is a path puzzle on a small grid. Some squares have numbers. Draw one line that starts on 1, visits the numbers in order and fills every square. That is the whole game.
Why a daily puzzle works
- It ends. One board, then you are done. Nothing pulls you into an hour of play.
- Everyone has the same board. You can talk about today's puzzle with friends or colleagues, and nobody has an easier one.
- It builds a habit. In the app, each solved day grows your streak. A streak freeze protects one missed day.
- No words needed. It works the same in any language, for kids and grandparents.
When does it change?
The app counts days by your phone's own date, so the new puzzle appears at midnight where you are. If you share a link to a day's puzzle, your friend gets that exact board.
Where to play
- In your browser, on a phone or a computer. Free, no sign-up.
- In the Candy Path app, with your streak, a leaderboard for friends, and a journey of levels for when one puzzle is not enough.
If it feels hard
Start with the corners. A corner square has two neighbours, so the line must pass through both of them. Then connect numbers that sit close together. Our tips page has more, and how to play shows the rules with pictures.
